Peary Good Breakfast Bar

Makes 2 dozen bars

Ingredients
  • 2 cups raw almonds
  • 1 cup raw walnuts
  • 1/2 cup flax seeds, ground
  • 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
  • 3 medium sized pears, cored & diced
  • 1 well ripened banana, peeled & diced
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup medjool dates, pitted and finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons apple pie spice

Coarsely grind the nuts in a food processor and transfer to a large mixing bowl. Puree pears and bananas in food processor and transfer to a small bowl.

Mix in with a wooden spoon ground flax seeds, hemp seeds, spice, raisins and dates.

Combine both mixtures well. Spread onto a Teflex-lined dehydrator tray with a slightly wet spatula. Dehydrate at 105F degrees for ten hours.

Flip tray over, peeling away Teflex sheet and dehydrate for another ten hours. Cut into bars or fun shapes that make you feel good!
