Edible Chocolate Body Butter Recipe

Guest Blogger: Frank Giglio

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, chocolate will certainly be the food of choice amongst loved ones.

In this recipe, I take one of the world’s most loved and medicinal foods and turn it into a sensual edible body butter.

Once prepared, you can keep this recipe at room temperature and spread it where ever your heart desires.

3/4 cup coconut oil, melted

1/3 cup agave nectar (clear agave is best)

1/2 Tablespoon vanilla powder

1/4 cup cacao powder(for a slightly thicker texture, add more if desired)

Optional Add-Ons

1/2 tsp cistanche (strong jing herb known to promote sexual prowess)

1 tsp maca (adaptagen, balances hormones, and strengthens the libido)

1-2 drops rose essential oil

1/2 tsp powdered lavender flowers

-Place all the ingredients into a food processor, and blend until all the ingredients are well incorporated.

-Pour into small jars and allow mixture to set in the fridge. Can be kept at room temperature in a cool place.
