Add a Raw Mono-Food to every Meal.

Guest Blogger: Cindy Davis

I have tried more times than I can count to GO 100% RAW.  Each time, I load up my cart with vegetables, fruits, and nuts, and drive home hoping for the best.

Each time, I have varying degrees of success going completely raw.  Eventually, life always interferes.  I find the social challenges of eating raw to be more challenging than the food prep or physical cravings.  I live in a small town with no opportunities for gourmet raw while eating out.  My family eats out a lot.

My top tip for getting started with raw is to add something raw to every meal.

Those of you who are experienced raw foodist may or may not agree with me.  But if you have trying to go raw and find yourself failing time and time again – then STOP!

Forgive yourself.  Allow yourself roam to grow into raw at your own pace. Start small.  Stay there awhile, then increase gradually.

Add one mono-food to each meal.

I like to add one raw mono-food to each meal.  No complications.  I simple cut this food up and put it on our plates.

This is such a small baby step that at first I even felt guilty about doing this!  Each time I added one raw mono-food to our plates I would think that I should be doing more.  I thought I should be better, and stop failing.

I have slowly learned to accept this one, simple mono-food as a success all by itself.

Yes, some days I am able to eat all raw all day.  Other days I eat only half or less raw.  But now, because of Kristen’s influence, I am eating a raw mono-food at most every meal.

  1. Have you ever thought about including a little bit more than just your
articles? I mean, what you say is valuable and everything.

But think of if you added some great pictures or video clips to
give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent
but with images and videos, this site could definitely be one of the greatest
    in its field. Good blog!
